An Idea That Can Help Fix The Faulty YouTube Demonitization System

I've thinking and soaking up this idea for a while now and decided it's time to share it with you guys on the internet. To inform you, I am a Information Systems student at my college and we have started learning about systems and what makes up a system.

So if you don't know what is happening in YouTube, especially for creators is that the A.I or "bot" that reviews your video and chooses if it's suitable for advertisers or not, it's kinda buggy and inconsistent in the way it judges certain content. At first I wanted to make a YouTube video on this but... I still suck at making those and decided it would be go here on my blog.

By now you should be familiar with that symbol above as many YouTubers are seeing this symbol every time they post a new video and recently YouTube even announced that there will be a longer waiting time on the reviewal of demonitized or flagged videos.

The Solution To The Problem

YouTube should actually start using its own community to its advantage whereby they start paying individuals to review videos. What I suggest is that YouTube should create a new tab similar to "YouTube studio" whereby, one can must apply to be a reviewer in order to have access to the videos that need reviewing. From that I also suggest that YouTube should take a specific number of  individuals scattered around the globe to review a video for example 10000 or more per video. Furthermore, the video player in the reviewer's tab should be similar to the one which is already used by YouTube whereby ads still exist and that option to subscribe to that specific channel is also available but however, videos are not skip-able and at the end of the video, the reviewer should either presses the like or dislike (which these would have different colours than the regular blue e.g green and red) button, meaning of which they approve or disapprove a specific video and also YouTube should give a list of reasons to why they approve or disapprove the video according to the community guidelines written and approved by YouTube which affect monitization and therefore that collected data should be then taken forward to higher management to finish the review. And lastly YouTube should pay the reviewers a certain percentage based on the channel's CPM, for example 20 cents per reviewer for the specific video of the channel, since we already watch videos for free.

To ensure fairness all videos should be sent to a specific number of reviewers; if the reviewer has not "reviewed" the video within a certain time period, their opportunity to review the video lapses and then the opportunity is sent on to another individual.

YouTube can either decide whether or not this should work in accordance to the decisions made by the bot or not.

In conclusion this process of this new system will bring good to everyone if done right because YouTube, the YouTuber and the YouTube Reviewer will be paid and furthermore it would provide a better opportunity for the YouTuber at hand and having a vast amount of data from reviewers it would make the data processing and the final decision of having a video monitized or demonitized faster, so that YouTubers don't have to wait for weeks to get their videos reviewed.
